Today, perioperative leaders are looking for ways to attract and retain surgeons in order to maintain and grow surgical volume. By providing surgeons with a means to have greater access to available OR time and prompting them to release potentially unused OR time, hospitals are able to improve OR utilization, maximize their resources, and increase surgeon engagement.
Learn how Hospital IQ’s mobile surgeon engagement capabilities and machine - learning generated recommendations can:
- Improve access - easy access to OR time for surgeons anytime, anywhere
- Increase surgeon engagement - ability to easily view and request OR time as well as release block time, days and weeks in advance
- Performance improvement - increased insight into performance KPIs such as block use type, on-time first starts and same-day cancellations
- Reduce unused block time – automatically recommend block releases when time is at risk of going unused, creating more block availability to surgeons that need it most
